There are three different grades of topcoat economy, superior and premium and two different quality types of labor commercial and residential. We are exclusively a residential bathtub refinisher. We offer diamond glaze synthetic porcelain topcoats, not paint. Our technicians are true craftsmen. In the industry over 90% of all tub and shower jobs are lower quality work done in apartment complexes, hotels and rental units. Apartment workers are painters, not refinishers. Economy is the standard paint used. Because it is fast and inexpensive to do. Commercial companies do residential jobs. This is why most of the tub jobs that come into us are breaking down and peeling and when we take the old surface off we always see economy paint on them. They bulk buy their materials in a 30 gallon drum, we buy yours fresh. We are true refinishing experts. For surface preparation we spend more time and use a specially formulated deep prepping method, not basic. We do one job a day, apartment people do two or more jobs a day.
